Where do I get an application form?
You can download the Szpilman Award 2010 application form (pdf) here.

What is needed for the application?
To apply, send a significant documentation of your work.
To that, fill in the application form (pdf) with name, e-mail,
telephone, address, title of the work, and date of construction.
If you think it is important for the understanding of your work,
you can also add a description, cv or else.

How to send my application?
Attention please: We do NOT accept applications by e-mail.
You have to send your application to:
SZPILMAN AWARD, Brunnenstrasse 10, 10119 Berlin, Germany.

How many applications can I submit?
As many as you like.
Please use for every work a single application form.

When is the final deadline for entries?
The final entry-deadline is September 30, 2010 (postmark).

Who can apply?
Everyone
from all over the world without any age-limit
can apply for the Szpilman Award.

What does Jackpot Stipendium mean?
Jackpot Stipendium is a scholarship consisting of three parts:
a sum of money in cash,
ten days of accomodiation in Cimochowizna including a journey, and
a challenge cup.

How much money is in the Jackpot?
The amount of money is dynamic.

Where is Chimochowizna?
Cimochowizna is an extremly small and beautiful village
in a polnish national park near Lithuania.
The winner travels via Warszawa, from there 5h by train.

How can I support the Szpilman Award?
You can support the Szpilman Award in many ways:
First tell all your friends and neighbours about this award.
If you know a good place, information-material and poster can be sended.
In case you have contact to the press, all articels are welcome.
The jury is looking forward to get lots of entries.
You also may support the Szpilman Award with money or Lufthansa miles.
Money is needed for the Jackpot Stipendium and the trip to Cimochowizna.
If you are out of money but full of Lufthansa Miles+More, you can
support the prize winner with a ticket to Warszawa or more.
