Christopher Richmond, born 1986, lives and works in Los Angeles/USA. Graduated from Chapman University in 2009 with a bachelor of fine arts in studio art and cinematography. In addition to his work as a cinematographer, Christopher has an active practice in installation, performance, photography, video, and conceptual art.
His work has appeared in several groups show in Los Angeles and Chapman University's Guggenheim Gallery, including his first solo show, In Utero Bust. In spring 2008 he was awarded Chapman University's Faculty Sponsored Student Grant and Best Show for his mixed media work, 760 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095. In winter 2008, two performance works by the artist, Chasing the Horizon and Painting the Sky Blue, were selected for Germany's Szpilman Award Shortlist.
His second solo show entitled 12 O'clock will take place Vienna's c17 Gallery and features four new works by the artist dealing with the perception of time.
